Students are encouraged to study the past from a variety of perspectives - social, economic, cultural, and political - and to understand the world they inhabit as a product of historical processes.

The course teaches sound, proven IT management basics and describes processes and procedures for applying them. A "best practices" approach with practical real-world application, as illustrated with case studies, is emphasized.

This is a basic subject on matrix theory and linear algebra. Emphasis is given to topics that will be useful in applications to economics and finance, including systems of linear equations, vector spaces, determinants, eigenvalues, and similarity.
